From the airport
The Munich airport is 37 km north of the city and is served by the S-Bahn as well as taxi companies. It is about a 40-minute drive from the airport to the centre of Munich and the Hotel Königshof.
Two lines, S1 and S8 provide direct access to the city.
To reach the Hotel Königshof, take either the S-1 or the S-8 to Karlsplatz (Stachus) station. When you leave the station, take exit Prielmayerstraße / Justizpalast. When you leave the station, Hotel Königshof is directly in front of you.
From the train station
The city’s principal train station, the Hauptbahnhof, is located in the centre of Munich. The Hotel Königshof is only 500 metres from the station. When you exit the train station, walk towards the city centre. Cross Bahnhofsplatz to the pedestrian walk, Schützenstraße. Continue up the walk. The Hotel Königshof is at the end of the pedestrian walk on your left. Alternatively, if you advise us of your arrival details, we will be delighted to meet you at the station.
By car
If you are driving into Munich, we offer secure underground parking as well as valet parking.We would like to inform you that the city centre of Munich will be an environmental zone effective from October 01, 2008. To reach the hotel by car you will need a so called emission sticker.
